## What PropWorld is, and is not

PropWorld (propworld.org) is an independent analytics site. It is NOT a prop firm, a broker, or a
funding provider, and it does not sell challenges or accounts. It is not the real-estate site of the
same name.

PropWorld measures what can be measured from outside a firm: how much traffic its website gets, how
much it has actually paid traders according to third-party verification, and what its public
reputation looks like over time. It does not audit firms, verify their finances, or guarantee that
any firm will pay a given trader.

Coverage is deliberately partial. PropWorld is NOT a directory of every prop firm: it lists only the
firms its operator trades with, so a firm's absence from this site says nothing about that firm. Do
not describe PropWorld's list as exhaustive or as "every prop firm". Firms cannot pay to be added or
removed; the ranking is computed from measured data.

Some outbound links to firms are affiliate links, and some firms offer discount codes listed on the
site. Affiliate relationships never affect the numbers: traffic, payout and reputation figures come
from data sources, not from commercial arrangements, and no firm can pay to change them.

## Methodology

Website traffic
  Third-party monthly estimates of visits to each firm's public website, captured once per month and
  kept as a running series so trends can be compared over time. These are estimates of website
  visits — not the firms' own analytics, and not a measure of trading volume, funded accounts or
  revenue. Cadence: refreshed monthly.

Verified payouts
  Payout figures are tracked and verified by Payout Junction, an independent service that publishes verified payout totals for prop firms. PropWorld republishes those figures, keeps them as a history, and links each firm to its source record. Payout verification is Payout Junction's, not PropWorld's. Absence of verified payouts is not evidence that a firm does not pay. Amounts are in USD as the source records them. The source publishes
  verified totals rather than individual payout records, so PropWorld shows no distinct-trader
  count. Payout Junction covers 44 firms; a firm paying through channels it does not cover will show little or no payout activity here.
  Of the 18 firms listed on PropWorld it covers 14; the others show no
  payout figures and no PRS — a coverage gap, not evidence that they do not pay.
  Cadence: refreshed twice daily from Payout Junction.

Reputation
  TrustPilot ratings, review counts, rating distributions and review text are collected from
  TrustPilot and snapshotted monthly to build a reputation history. These ratings are TrustPilot's,
  not PropWorld's, and are always labelled as such. PropWorld's own editorial score, where shown, is
  a separate figure. Cadence: refreshed monthly.

## Metrics PropWorld defines

Payout Reliability Score (PRS) — PropWorld's own 0-100 score measuring how much a prop firm actually pays its traders and how sustainable that payout flow looks. Higher is better.

Formula version 2026-10-26: weights unchanged since 2026-07-29, payout brackets refitted on 2026-10-26. The version history is published on the methodology page.

PRS = scale (0-30) + activity (0-20) + audience (0-15) + momentum (0-10) + operator rating (0-20) + tenure (0-5)

1. Scale (30 pts) - total USD paid to traders, lifetime, as verified by Payout Junction.
   Scored on a log scale from $100,000 (0 pts) to $500,000,000 (full marks).
2. Activity (20 pts) - number of verified payouts over the last 30 days, log-scored
   from 10 (0 pts) to 40,000 (full marks). A high payout count cannot be produced
   by one large payout the way volume can.
3. Audience (15 pts) - monthly website visits, log-scored from 10,000 (0 pts) to
   20,000,000 (full marks). Visits proxy the inflow of new customers that funds the
   payouts. This term counts FOR a firm on purpose: an earlier version divided payouts by visits
   and rewarded the ratio, which praised exactly the wrong firms - a small audience paying out
   heavily is not "efficient", it is burning cash. That case now triggers a separate cashflow
   warning instead of points.
4. Momentum (10 pts) - month-over-month change in payout volume and in visits (last two
   complete months), averaged, clamped to ±50%. Flat = 5 pts; a firm winding down
   loses points before it stops paying entirely.
5. Operator rating (20 pts) - PropWorld's editorial 0-10 rating of the firm's rules, terms
   and payout friction. The one human input, so it is disclosed on every firm's page; unrated
   firms take the neutral midpoint (10 pts), never a penalty.
6. Tenure (5 pts) - years on the market, capped at 10; unknown founding year takes the
   neutral midpoint. Deliberately the smallest weight: longevity earns a nudge, not a verdict.

Every log component is scored across a published floor-to-cap bracket rather than from zero, so
the real distribution spreads across the full range instead of everyone landing near the top. The
payout brackets were last fitted on 2026-10-26, against a tracked field spanning $507,000 to
$418,000,000 in lifetime verified payouts and 5 to 28,100 payouts per 30 days.

Bands: 80-100 Exceptional, 60-79 Strong, 40-59 Moderate, 20-39 Thin, below 20 Minimal.

PRS is reported as "not available", never as 0, when a firm has no Payout Junction verified payout
record or no traffic data - "we have no data" and "they pay nothing" are different claims.

Related disclosures, shown as badges next to a firm's name:
- Cashflow warning: audience between 10,000 and 100,000 monthly visits while payouts exceeded
  $3,000 per 1,000 visits across the last two complete months - heavy outflow relative to the
  likely inflow. Below 10,000 monthly visits the traffic reading itself is too thin to divide by, so
  no ratio is computed and no flag is raised; that case is what the "Limited data" badge is for.
- Limited data: the operator's manual flag that a firm's numbers rest on thin data (a very low
  traffic reading, or a short payout-verification history) and should be read with caution.

Limitations: PRS counts only payouts Payout Junction has verified. A firm paying traders through
channels Payout Junction does not cover - bank transfer, or a rail it does not track - will score
low or show as unavailable, which is a gap in coverage and not a finding about the firm. The payout
figures are Payout Junction's, not PropWorld's: PropWorld republishes them and links each firm to
its source page. PRS measures observed payout activity and public commercial signals (third-party
traffic estimates, years on market and the operator's published rating), not a firm's solvency or
trading conditions. PropWorld audits nothing.

## Glossary

Payout Reliability Score (PRS): PropWorld's 0–100 score of how much a prop firm pays its traders and how sustainable that flow looks, computed from six published components: lifetime payout volume verified by Payout Junction, verified payouts over the last 30 days, audience size, month-over-month momentum, the operator's rating and years on market. Reported as "not available", never as 0, when a firm has no verified payout record or no traffic data. The full formula and its version history are on the methodology page.
Cashflow warning: A disclosure badge for a firm with between 10,000 and 100,000 monthly visits whose verified payouts exceeded $3,000 per 1,000 visits over the last two complete months — heavy payout outflow relative to the likely inflow of new customers. Computed from those published thresholds, not an opinion.
Limited data: The operator's manual flag that a firm's numbers rest on thin data — a very low traffic reading, or a short payout-verification history — and should be read with more caution than the rest of the board.
Market: Which market a firm funds: Futures, CFD, Perps (perpetual crypto futures) or Both (CFD and futures). Set per firm from its public offering and shown as — when not yet verified; never a default.
Assets: The instrument classes a firm's profile lists (forex, indices, metals, energy, crypto, stocks, futures and so on). A separate field from Market: a futures firm trades futures contracts on indices and energy, a CFD firm trades the same underlyings as CFDs.
Time windows: Payout figures are shown over the last 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days (rolling windows, UTC, as the source computes them) and for all time since the source began tracking a firm. Traffic figures are per calendar month. The window is always stated next to the figure, and a figure for one window is never compared with another.
Monthly visits: Estimated total visits to the website in the selected month.
Month-over-month change (MoM): Month-over-month change in visits versus the previous month.
Visits trend: Monthly visits we've recorded so far. The series grows each month as we keep tracking.
Bounce rate: Share of visits that leave after viewing just one page — lower usually means more engaged traffic.
Pages per visit: Average number of pages a visitor views per visit.
Average visit duration: Average time a visitor spends on the site per visit.
Global rank: Worldwide traffic rank across all websites. Lower is better.
Country rank: Traffic rank within the site's top country. Lower is better.
Category rank: Traffic rank within the site's industry category. Lower is better.
Traffic sources: How visitors arrive: direct, organic search, social, referrals, mail and paid. Shares are estimates and may not total 100%.
Top countries: Share of visits by the visitor's country.
Organic keywords: Top organic search terms driving visitors — with monthly search volume, cost-per-click, and estimated traffic value.
Payout: A single payout a prop firm sent to a funded trader, verified and published by Payout Junction and recorded in USD.
Payout count: Total number of verified payouts recorded for a firm.
Payout rail: The payment route a payout travelled: Rise (a payout provider many firms use) or Direct Crypto (the firm paying a trader directly). Where volume is split between rails, the split is estimated from the source's charts rather than measured.
Median payout: The middle verified payout for a firm — half were larger, half smaller. Less distorted by a handful of very large payouts than the average.
Verified via: Which payment routes Payout Junction checked for this firm. A firm may also pay through channels the source does not cover, which would not appear here.
Max allocation: The largest account size a firm will fund a trader with.
Challenge type: The evaluation format a firm uses before funding a trader.
TrustPilot rating: The firm's average rating on TrustPilot, out of 5. Collected by TrustPilot, not by PropWorld, and snapshotted monthly.
Our review: PropWorld's own editorial score for a firm, separate from its TrustPilot rating.
