Impossible conditions set for traders
This company advertises itself as serving its clients, however, their rules and breach conditions are clearly designed to make traders fail.
I purchased a 1-step challenge, which is advertised as a potentially faster way (less overall profit % is needed) to get funded, but drawdown limits are harsher – okay, that's fair enough. However, I then realized that their total drawdown is calculated in a way, that I could have breached my account without ever making a single losing trade: the drawdown limit follows/trails your live equity (current balance with open trades). So if an open trade goes up let's say 8% of your account, then drops back to being only 2% in profit (but still in profit!!!), your account is breached. Just ridiculous, and utterly disappointing.

I have had a very disappointing experience with this company
I have had multiple issues with this company. On several occasions, they closed my trades themselves and marked my account as breached. Each time I posted an honest review on Trustpilot, I received an email from one of the company's managers saying that their finance team had made a mistake. They offered to restore my account if I removed my review, and after I deleted it, my account was reinstated.
Unfortunately, the same issue happened again. This time, I opened two separate trades. One trade was closed at 1500 in loss, while the other was only about $300 in loss. Despite this, my $100,000 account was marked as breached.
When I contacted customer support, I did not receive a reasonable or satisfactory explanation. Because of this experience, I felt I had no choice but to post another review.
Based on my experience, this company lacks a reliable and consistent system. I hope they improve their processes and treat all traders fairly and transparently.

Spread Issue
Hi, i I took same trade with lot 0.85 size on brightfunded and one another firm.Tp was same on both firms .Tp was 4089.91 and market went till 4090.81 . Other firm trade was closed but brightfunded trade was still opened . Why i reached to customer service(Jude) he said it's spread issue. As a trader i understand spread is accepted but 30 to 50 points but not more than 80 points.Totally disappointed with their spread issue. It was happened with me before as well. That's their worst problem. Whenever I complain about this problem, they always have the same answer . Instead of helping users, they close conversations without any solution.
Be aware with their spread issue. Compare with other firms before buying account with them.

I don’t recommend this firm
I don’t recommend this firm. They do pay, and they’re not a scam, but if you trade well, you’ll likely only get one payout. In my experience, I passed their challenge, received a payout, and then got banned. Later, they contacted me saying I could trade with them again—I passed their challenge once more and got banned again. To me, it’s pretty clear: the firm is just waiting for you to blow your account.

Unbelievably Terrible Conditions – Absolutely Impossible to Trade Here
Review:
Do not fall for their fancy advertisements. The trading conditions at this firm are unbelievably terrible, and it is absolutely impossible to trade here sustainably. Do not buy any challenges from this firm if you want to protect your money.
Here are the exact facts from my experience:
ETH/USD: Risking a completely normal 1.7% of a $100k account with a reasonable 2% stop-loss costs a staggering $398 DAILY in overnight fees. If you hold a position for just two days, you lose nearly 1% of your entire account balance strictly to fees.
DOGE/USD: They advertise clean pricing, but I was instantly hit with a massive 0.30% spread upon entering a position during a completely flat, zero-volatility period.
ATOM/USD (Artificial Lot Limits): They enforce a hard maximum limit of 5000 lots on instruments. Because of this artificial cap, you are physically blocked from setting your preferred risk parameters. On a standard setup, you are forced to risk a maximum of just 0.27% of your balance.
Their business model is not designed for real trading. They either bleed your account with absurd daily fees or set artificial lot limits to force you into overtrading 50+ times to reach a target. Do not waste your money on their challenges. Stay away from this platform.

The spreads are quite high
The spreads are quite high, making the structure very disadvantageous for managing high-value accounts. Particularly when trading altcoins, if you enter a trade of over $200,000 to $300,000 just for Ethereum and Solana, you start with a loss of 0.2% to 0.3% due to the high spreads.
The low fees are essentially a deception. In reality, you end up paying more in fees than you would with any prop firm you have traded with so far. Shouldn't a prop firm be able to accept at least 100 to 200 Ethereum or 2,000 to 4,000 Solana at the quoted price to be considered coin-friendly?
If you look at the order books for Solana and Ethereum, the bid-ask spread is already 0.1%; furthermore, executing an order worth around $200,000 results in an additional 0.1% of slippage. You might wonder, "Why not just use limit orders?" However, as traders, we need to set stop-loss orders to manage risk, and if those stop-losses execute at market price, slippage occurs there as well.
Is there any compelling reason to use BrightFunded when there are prop firms that offer much better liquidity? While they aren't a scam company—they don't have issues with withdrawals or forcibly close accounts—these shortcomings regarding liquidity are truly disappointing.

Need help immediately!
Need help immediately... initially had positive experiences. However I was mistakenly targeted by their hedging rule. On one account I had 3 positions in a couple thousand drawdown total on xauusd and I have 1 account that had reached the 8k profit target. I take a .001 minimum day buy on the 2nd account thats already hit the target and immediately get hit with the soft breach and lose thousands on the other account... I understand the intent of the rule but clearly in these circumstances I believe I deserve a reset!
UPDATE: Ceo is very personable and immediately reached out to resolve the issue
