Overnight, VPS usage was banned, some rules were changed, and clients were asked to accept the new terms to continue. I saw this as a lack of transparency and a rather underhanded move. Perhaps it was necessary to protect the company and ensure its survival, but from a prop firm of this level, I would have expected different communication and management. My top points Variety of programs: Funding Pips offers several options, allowing traders to choose a path that is reasonably well suited to their trading style instead of being forced into a single model. Generally clear rules: Aside from the sudden-rule-change episode, it is probably one of the easiest CFD prop firms to understand. Its trading conditions, limits, and program structure are generally well defined. Brand size and reliability: Within the CFD prop-firm space, it remains one of the largest firms and, overall, one of the best in my view in terms of structure, offering, and clarity. My drawbacks VPS banned overnight: For traders who use VPS services, automation, stable remote connections, or trade from multiple locations, this change has a real and significant impact. Rules changed for existing clients: The issue is not just the policy change itself, but the fact that it was introduced with very little room for choice: either accept the new terms, or you can no longer continue under the previous conditions. Questionable communication: A prop firm may need to change its policies for risk-management, compliance, or sustainability reasons. However, it should do so with more notice, clear explanations, and ideally some form of protection for clients who joined under different rules. Overall, Funding Pips remains one of the best CFD prop firms on the market in my opinion. However, this situation shows that even a very large firm can suddenly change the rules of the game. That is why, before purchasing or scaling up across multiple accounts, traders should always consider the risk of future rule changes as well.
